Some days take less, but most days take more

Last week, what a mess.  Herding cats.  I felt like there was nothing I could get done right.  Fifteen things on my plate and able to make progress on none of them.  So much for multitasking.  Chipping away at an iceberg.  I’ve had all these random projects piling up and no time to actually get [...]

Speeding

Got caught speeding, though this time it wasn’t me.  I love getting these things in the mail.

What I loved was paying this online.  On the back of the ticket they give you a URL to hit.  Here it is:

Wow, that’s a mouthful.  Couldn’t they have made it something easier to remember?

Redwood

mmm, expensive dinner.  Ate at Redwood tonight.  The inside looked like something out of Dwell.  Modern.  Nice bathrooms.  Not like POD with the airplane style toilets.  A really cool sink.  Can you tell we’re also remodeling our bathroom and spent the day looking at sinks and fixtures?

Planeside

I love walking out to the plane.  Out on the tarmac.  In the midst of all the motion and danger I find peace.  The runway seems endless.

Everybody comes to Hollywood

Malibu really.  Bowis got married on the beach in Malibu.  In the sand.  Great weekend.  Great wedding.  Back from Hotlanta, then onto a 8 p.m. flight out to LAX.  Airport traffic was retarded.  Then I went too far up the 405 on the way to the hotel.  The hotel was freaking amazing.  Marriott is all [...]
